Equine Health & Emergency First Aid (Practical Portion only)
Our most comprehensive course covers principles of First Aid, when to call your vet, conditioning your horse for treatment, vital signs, lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, cast equines, shock, hoof issues, pain recognition and alleviation, spinal health, prevention and more.
This course is highly recommended for all horse owners to prevent emergencies, respond better and communicate more efficiently with their vet.

Advanced Equine First Aid (practical portion only)
The Advanced Equine First Aid course covers scenarios where the horse would likely not survive without human intervention.
Students will learn how to deal with trapped horses, poison, burns, bites, hypo/hyperthermia, tie ups, fractures, chest wounds, impalements, broken bones and more.
The course discusses planning and preparation for a variety of scenarios.
The Standard First Aid course is required to take this class.

Taking the theory portion is required prior to practical part. The practical portion is the same for both versions of the indoor class. Completion of Equine Health & Emergency First Aid required.
First Aid Fundamentals
This is a half-day, fast-paced clinic covering the fundamentals of first aid. Working hands-on with the horses, students will learn to take vital signs, recognize pain in the horse, detect colic, and participate in lots of bandaging in realistic scenarios!
This course is best suited for teen and adult horse enthusiasts who are interested in understanding horse health and first aid but don’t need or want the full day course at this point.

Livestock Handling for First Responders
This course designed for first responders teaches how to deal with emergencies involving livestock (i.e. traffic incidents, barn fires, natural disaster situations). This course covers different species, their behavior, and considerations for containment.
