    Our most comprehensive course covers vet-owner communication, vital signs, conditioning a horse for treatment, lacerations, punctures, colic, choke, collapse, shock, hoof issues, pain identification, spinal health, injury prevention and more.

    Advanced Equine Wilderness First Aid
    Learn what to do in more serious situations like dealing with open chest wounds, severe burns, broken bones, impalement, trapped horses and other life-threatening injuries. This course also discusses how to prepare, plan and react when remote with your horse.

  • Equine Health & Emergency First Aid

    • Understand the basics of equine health and emergency first aid.

    • Learn to identify and assess emergency situations.

    • Develop skills for efficient communication with veterinarians.

    • Practice hands-on first aid techniques for various scenarios.

    • Gain knowledge on prevention and response to common horse emergencies.

    Advanced Equine Wilderness First Aid

    • Recognize and respond to severe equine emergencies.

    • Develop advanced triage and stabilization skills.

    • Learn to assess horses for work and understand conditioning.

    • Understand environment-specific injury risks and prevention at home and in remote environments.

    • Practice advanced wound care, splinting, and emergency planning.

    • Improve communication with veterinarians and emergency responders.
