The Advanced Equine First Aid course covers scenarios where the horse would likely not survive without human intervention.
Students will learn how to deal with trapped horses, poison, burns, bites, hypo/hyperthermia, tie ups, fractures, chest wounds, impalements, broken bones and more.
The course discusses planning and preparation for a variety of scenarios - including knowledge for back country riders & wilderness preparedness.
